School aged classes
Kindergarten - Year 12
We firmly believe that educating dancers in correct, safe technique from an early age is imperative to prevent injuries in young bodies. So you can rest assured that while your loved one is having the time of their life in class, they are also receiving strong, quality dance training.

Acrobatic Arts is a unique acro syllabus designed specifically for dancers. The program is based on safe & effective progressions with proven results in five categories of AcroDance; Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering & Tumbling. The comprehensive, technique focused syllabus was developed alongside professionals & experts throughout the industry. Dancers begin at the first level - regardless of age & skill - & work their way up to ensure the correct foundational work has been accomplished before moving on. Each level builds on the next - with 8 levels of primary work & 3 pre-professional levels.

Please be aware, these classes are designed to develop acro/tumbling skills to incorporate into our dance routines. As these skills are mastered, you will see them performed in jazz, hip hop & lyrical routines. There is no separate concert routine of just Acrobatic Arts skills. If Acrobatic Arts is the only class you attend, you will not be involved in the dance concert.

FAQ - my child can already do some acro skills, they're ready to learn harder tricks, will they go into an advanced class?
All dancers begin at the first level & work their way through the syllabus - unless they have previously studied Acrobatic Arts, then they will be placed in their current level. All foundational milestones build on each other & must be achieved before progressing. Strength & flexibility play a very important role in achieving these milestones. Elements such as hand placement, shoulder/hip/hamstring flexibility or leg power could be the reason your dancer is "so close but can't quite get their front walkover". This is why they are taken back to the beginning to master the basic skills by building the technique, strength & flexibility required, so that more difficult skills can be achieved. Self taught students, especially, miss developing many crucial foundational skills, strength & flexibility in their hurry to attempt more difficult skills before they are ready. Our Acrobatic levels run back to back on the same day so that once you progress to the next level, you simply begin attending the class after yours, you do not need to switch days.

NEW IN 2026!
Musical Theatre explores all three areas of dancing, singing & acting. Students will spend time learning each area both individually & in combination with each other, creating an understanding of how each aspect works & how they can come together to create exciting & showstopping pieces.
Students will start their lessons with a vocal warm up, learning different scales & exercises every few weeks before moving onto learning lyrics to songs they will perform to. They will spend time on acting exercises & games, creating characters & backstories, learning to perform from a script & also develop improvisation skills. Lastly, they will learn fun & fabulous dance combos in all styles that you may see on a stage, with a focus on theatre jazz.
Musical Theatre is a wonderful style to help build confidence, creativity and teamwork. Come along & join our class to become a triple threat!

NEW IN 2026!
Bridging the gap between jazz & classical ballet, lyrical - or modern expressive - tells a story through emotive dance. Lyrical involves key technical elements of jazz, ballet & even acro.

A strong ballet foundation is required, which is why our ballet & lyrical classes are back to back on the timetable. We highly recommend all lyrical dancers enrol in ballet for the two styles to complement one another.
